A typical engagement may last two to four weeks. The following
steps typically occur:
- Day one: plant tour and introduction to production control,
engineering, logistics and inventory control managers.
- Day 2-3: Interview approx. 4 key leaders of production control,
engineering, logistics and inventory control managers.
- Day 4: Workshop to review process matrix, issues and concerns.
- Day 5: Interview application support team to identify all
applications used.
- Day 6-7: Random interviews to understand effectiveness of
applications.
- Day 8: Workshop to review process versus application matrix.
- Day 9-10: Document and present findings.
